Tral: HCC Noorpora team wins Batagund Premier League (BPL)

Tral: HCC Noorpora team scripted thrilling victory in Batagund Premier League (BPL), which is considered as one of the biggest cricket tournaments being played in Tral sub district.

The tournament was concluded today amidst exhilarating and enthusiastic cricketing crowds, with a large number of spectators participated to support their favourite teams.

A total of 64 teams participated in the said mega cricket tournament, which continued for several months.

The final match of the tournament was played between Friends XI Batagund and HCC Noorpora, in which Noorpora team did a marvellous job and won the final match by 4 wickets.

Jamsheed Ahmad of HCC Noorpora team was declared as man of the match, while as Mohammad Ishaq of Friends XI Batagund was declared man of the series on the occasion.

Both the teams played spectacular cricket and showed true sportsman spirit throughout the tournament.

Many local personalities were present on that occasion, who gave away the prizes in the closing ceremony of the tournament.

The tournament has been enthusiastically embraced by the people and has thrown up a lot of existing talent in this newly constructed stadium, which however lacks fencing around.

The players as well as locals have demanded fencing as well as up-gradation of the stadium at the earliest.
