Condolences continue to pour in over demise of Waheed Parra’s father

Pulwama, 21 Jan: Condolences from various organizations continue to pour in over the demise of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra, the father of Former Sports Council Secretary and state youth president of PDP, Waheed ur Rehman Parra. Many political leaders, officers, journalists, and religious leaders across the Kashmir valley have visited the bereaved family, expressing sympathy.

Former Chief Minister and PDP president visited Naira Pulwama, expressing deep sympathy and solidarity with the Parra family. Mufti said that the Parra family had always been close to Mufti Saheb, and she feels the demise of Gh Ahmad Parra as her personal loss. She described him as a generous and noble-hearted person, and his hospitality and soberness will remain in their hearts. “I share my heartfelt condolences with the family and Waheed at this hour of grief,” she said at a condolence meet.

J&K Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister Usman Majid expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of Parra’s father, praying for peace to the departed soul and strength for the family. He said that the deceased was a gentleman and humble soul.

DDC Chairman Budgam Nazir Ahmad Khan expressed sadness over Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra’s passing, extending condolences to the bereaved family. He said, “May the departed soul rest in peace, and may the family find strength and patience during this difficult time.”

Expressing grief over the demise, RTI Movement Chairman Raja Muzaffar Bhat visited Naira Pulwama and extended sympathies with Waheed Parra describing the deceased as a kind and pious soul. He extended his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family especially with Waheed ur Rehman Parra.

JKNC Additional Spokesperson and Former Legislator Dr. Gagan Bhagat condoled the demise, hoping for the highest place in Jannah-al-firdous for Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra and resilience for the bereaved family.

J&K Apni Party Additional General Secretary and Former President Municipal Council Anantnag Hilal Ahmad Shah expressed grief and sorrow, conveying heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, especially Waheed Parra.

JKNC Senior Vice President, Kashmir Province, and Former Legislator Dr. Bashir Veeri also condoled the demise, writing on X, Formerly Twitter, “May Almighty give him eternal rest and may his soul rest in peace and may almighty give courage to Waheed Parra and his family to bear this loss.”

J&K People’s Conference General Secretary and Former MLA Mansoor Soharvardi expressed heartfelt condolences, praying for courage for the bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace, and may Allah grant him the highest place in heavens,” Mansoor said while expressing sympathy with Waheed Parra.

International Cricketer Parvez Rasool also visited Parra’s residence in Naira Pulwama and expressed grief over the demise of his father Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra. Rasool while praying for the eternal peace to departed soul also extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

Former Minister Zahoor Ahmad Mir also expressed grief over the demise of Parra’s father, Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra. Terming the deceased and kind and pious soul, Mir expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for their courage to bear this loss.

Former Member of Parliament Fayaz Mir also visited Naira Pulwama and expressed condolences with Waheed Parra on the demise of Parra’s father. He prayed to the Almighty for giving strength to the family so that they are able to bear the irreparable loss.

Former Minister and party leader Abdul Ghaffar Sofi also expressed deep grief on the demise of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra, father of Waheed Parra. Sofi while expressing his solidarity with bereaved family, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family to bear this unbearable loss.

Former Minister Asiya Naqash also visited Naira Pulwama and expressed condolences with Waheed Parra on the demise of Parra’s father. She prayed to the Almighty for giving strength to the family so that they are able to bear the irreparable loss.

Shia Leader and J&K People’s Conference General Secretary Imran Raza Ansari also extended condolences to the family of Waheed Parra. Ansari accompanied by several senior party leaders, and his brother Irfan Ansari and Tasaduq Yaseen, Political Secretary to PC Chairman Sajad Lone visited Parra’s residence in Naira Pulwama and conveyed their deepest condolences to Parra.

National Conference Youth Wing President Salman Sagar also visited Parra’s residence Naira Pulwama, and expressed his heartfelt condolences over the demise of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra. Offering his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Salman prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.

J&K People’s Independent Movement Chairman Bilal Lone also visited Parra’s Naira residence in Pulwama to condole the demise of his father. Lone met the bereaved family members especially Waheed Parra and expressed his solidarity with them. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul, and courage to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.

After the death of Parra’s Father, condolence messages poured in from different shades of life from Jammu and Kashmir and outside the Union Territory, including political parties, bureaucrats, Civil, Army and Police officers, DDC Members, government quarters, MPs, and former sitting ministers and law enforcement quarters as well (PR).
