3 day State Sqay Championship 2021 concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar, 8 Feb: 21st State Sqay Championship 2021 which was started on Saturday concluded in Srinagar city on Monday.
The championship was organised by district Srinagar Sqay Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association at Indoor Stadium of Polo Ground Sports Complex Sringar, which was held in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
On Monday, Dozens of girls from the various parts of Kashmir valley participated in the championship to showcase their talent.
Besides Grand Master-Mir Nazir, ADC Srinagar-Mohammad Hanief Balki, Farooq Renzu Shah, & technical Director SQAY martial arts-Bashir Ahmad were present as the special guests.
On that occasion, Wasim Beigh, Organising Secretary, J&K SQAY association has said that “on third day, large number of girls from various places of Kashmir took part in the championship, who were awarded with the medals for showing the outstanding performance.”
Beigh said that the players who performed well in the championship, will play at the National level Sqay championship, which will be held at Rajasthan on 25th of February.”
It’s pertinent to mention here that the players of Leeniv martial arts academy Tral headed by Feroz Ahmad have shown an outstading performance during the whole championship.
