Day 2: 21st State Sqay Championship 2021 continues in Srinagar

Srinagar, 7 Feb:21st State Sqay Championship 2021 continued on second consecutive day in Srinagar city on Sunday.

The championship is organised by district Srinagar Sqay Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Sqay Association at Indoor Stadium of Polo Ground Sports Complex Sringar, in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.

Today on second day, Dozens of players from the various parts of Kashmir valley participated in the championship to showcase their talent.

Wasim Beigh, Organising Secretary, J&K SQAY association told Arising State that “on second day, a good number of senior players from various places of Kashmir took part in the championship, who were appreciated for showing the brilliant performance.”

Beigh said that the championship is going to conclude tomorrow (Monday), “and the players who will perform well, will be selected for the National level Sqay championship, which will be held at Rajasthan from 25th of February.”

Meanwhile, players of Leeniv martial arts academy Tral have shown an outstading performance today.

From Pulwama district, Shakir Yousuf of Lurow Tral, Moin Mudasir of Pastuna Tral, Furqan Mushtaq of Lurgam, Zahoor Ahmad of Panzoo, Shahid Yousuf of Lurow, Haris Nazeer, Faheem Ahmad & Mohammad Suhaib Dar won the gold medal.
